Welcome to Bo9 Photography.

Myself:
I spent the first half of my life as a left-brained individual. It came natural; follow directions, enforce the rules, be extremely organized. Life changes. For the second half, I am letting the right side of my brain take over; finding what I like, learning to like my dislikes, using my imagination. I now know my favorite color is lime green, I don't have a favorite music genre and I need to read more for pleasure. And thanks to the support of my loving family and friends, I'm finally taking the time to do what I've always wanted; learn ASL, travel to foreign countries and be a photographer.

You know that moment when you have finally found what it is that you love to do, and everything in your life fits together peacefully. I hope you do!

My Photography:
My first camera was a Kodak 110 my dad purchased for me to take my own pictures on vacations. I remember taking photos just to share with others where I had been and what I saw. Then my dad gave me my grandfathers Contaflex 35mm film camera in a leather case with his name embossed on it. He showed me how to use it (and I still use it) and told stories of the contests my grandfather had won with it, and how he created the photos we looked at in his darkroom. I wish I could share the digital technology we have now with my grandfather. My dad and I still challenge each others shots, hold our own photo contests and discuss film vs. digital. Yep, I love what I do!
